The museum displays 20000 items of folk and tribal arts, crafts and textiles. Here you can also explore papier mache; ivories, dolls, wood and stone carvings, toys, puppets and masks. You also get to see jewelry items, decorative metal-ware, paintings, cane and bamboo work, etc from different parts of India.
The ‘Visual Store’ at Delhi Crafts Museum comprising of about 15,000 objects is very useful to designers, craftsmen, scholars, and to the researches of Indian culture and traditions. The Crafts Museum features a Shop where tourists can buy books, postcards and other handicrafts.
